Overview

‘What is…?’ events are held online on the last Tuesday of the month.

It was previouls co-led by Deborah Timoni and Ramon Almeida and we are now looking for new student facilitators. Please contact Melanie Nind (M.A.Nind@soton.ac.uk) if you are interested.

Each session has 3 presentations to stimulate the thinking and development of our SCDTP community. The theme this year is interdisciplinarity, so each presenter will tell us about a method or concept or findings that has importance beyond their immediate discipline.

October 2026 Programme

We are pleased to offer a great range of speakers and topics:

✓What is neurodiverstiy? – Dr Steven Kapp, SCDTP supervisor, University of Portsmouth.
