Progress and Power
The Final Year Conference is the highlight of the SCDTP year and the one event organised by students, for students. It is a chance to present your work to a friendly, interdisciplinary audience, to see the range of research going on across the four partner institutions, and to mark how far you have come.
This year’s theme is Progress and Power, with three sub-themes running through the day:
- People
- Technology
- Environment
The themes are meant to be read generously. Whatever your discipline, there will be a way in – and the most interesting conversations at this conference are usually the ones between fields rather than within them.
Presenting
The conference is put together by the student organising committee. A call for presentations, with formats, abstract length and the submission deadline, will be circulated to all students and published here. If you are in your final year, do start thinking now about what you would like to share.
