Travel by Train:
Portsmouth Guildhall is located right across the square from Portsmouth & Southsea Train Station, which offers frequent services to London Waterloo, Southampton, and Brighton.
Travel by Bus:
Local and regional buses stop at Commercial Road City Centre, just a 5-minute walk from Portsmouth Guildhall.

National Express↗ coach services stop at The Hard Interchange, about a 15-minute walk or a quick taxi ride away.
Travel by Car:
Portsmouth is easily accessible via the M275 from Junction 12 of the M27, with connections to the M3 and A3 linking the city to Southampton, Chichester, London, and beyond. Use postcode PO1 2AB for Sat Nav directions.

Since 29th November 2021, Portsmouth has had a Clean Air Zone to reduce air pollution. While Portsmouth Guildhall is within this zone, private cars, motorcycles, and vans are not charged. Main option –
- Isambard Brunel Multistorey Carpark, PO1 2BX ↗ – 6hrs parking fee £4.50
This carpark has 460 spaces and is 0.2 miles from Portsmouth Guildhall.
Discounted parking available from the Guildhall. Swap your carpark entry ticket at the Guildhall Box Office (before 5 pm) for a carpark ‘Exit’ ticket at only £4.50. This is the closest Blue Badge parking.
On exit: Insert the ‘Exit’ ticket at the barrier.

Blue Badge Holders –
Exemption of parking fee is only for ‘Pay and Display’ charges in Portsmouth City Council owned carparks when you display your badge. Please note that this is NOT the case for the Isambard Brunel Multi Storey or any NCP owned carparks.
