Organisation summary

AHRC Hub for Public Engagement with Music Research have one placement available for a South Coast DTP PhD student to be a Policy Associate attached to one of the Spoke projects that the AHRC Hub will fund (around public engagement with music research). There is more information about the hub below

The Policy Associate will work alongside a cohort of policy associates from Public Policy Southampton and a wider team from the AHRC Hub to support one of the Spoke projects to develop their awareness of the policy implications of their project and to work on growing a set of policy recommendations from their research in the form of a policy briefing document.

In our Funding Call for Spoke Projects, the AHRC Hub indicated that each Spoke project would be supported by a Policy Associate, but we need an SCDTP placement to enable one of the Spoke projects to have specific support from one student. Our Hub will benefit from the expertise of an SCDTP student working on any current research in: education; policy; inclusion; youth voice.
