The SCDTP team are happy to announce that SCDTP blog is back! After an interlude between blog editors, the new blog editors Mark Kaye and Rachid Sekkai have regular blogging underway. Our first blogs come from Ellie Atayee-Bennett and Athina Vlachantoni. Ellie a an ESRC SCDTP-funded PhD researcher in Sociology at the University of Southampton researching the experiences of Jewish, Christian, and Muslim vegans and how veganism is practiced and experienced within religious contexts. Her blog post is about the Cumberland Lodge Residential. Athina, SCDTP Director, is a member of the UK Social Policy Association, British Society of Gerontology and British Society of Population Studies. Her blog post is about unmet care needs in people over the age of 65.
