FOCUS ON TRAINING NEEDS

The SCDTP is encouraging all SCDTP students to focus on their training needs. There are 2 ways to do this:

1. Join SCDTP Deputy Director, Melanie Nind, for a workshop on 22 March entitled ‘Training needs analysis – the procedural and the meaningful’
2. Send your training needs via Twitter using the hashtag #SocSciMethods. Your will be part of an initiative from the ESRC National Centre for Research Methods and doctoral training groups across the UK to gather the views of postgraduate researchers this way. Responses will be used to help shape social sciences methods training and to identify subject areas where more courses are needed nationally.
