 What:  

The ESRC South Coast Doctoral Training Partnership is teaming up with the UK’s Social Policy Association to organise and deliver a ‘Social Policy Masterclass’ which is open to all PhD students in social policy across the UK. The event will take place in person at the University of Southampton on 24th March 2026 between 10am-4pm. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. The event will focus on: “Research methods applied to social policy research”, and will be an opportunity for PhD students to hear from social policy experts at different stages of their career, in different substantive areas and using a range of research methods.
