Welcome Letter (.pdf)

Dear Students,

We would like to bring to your attention a letter from Stian Westlake, Executive Chair of the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC). This letter is particularly relevant for those who have started their ESRC-funded studentships in the 2024/25 academic year.

The letter highlights key information to help you make the most of your studentship, including the importance of using your Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP) as your first point of contact and familiarizing yourself with the Postgraduate Funding Guide. It also outlines opportunities for you to engage with wider ESRC initiatives.

Please take a moment to read the full letter and explore the resources it mentions.
